The APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) works as an integral part of the medical provider team at ARcare, delivering essential medical services to patients in the Wynne, AR area. This part-time position requires a dedicated professional who is committed to providing high-quality healthcare. The APRN will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include prescribing or administering treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care aimed at treating or preventing illnesses, diseases, or injuries. In this role, the APRN will also be tasked with ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests, as well as analyzing medical records, reports, and examination information to accurately diagnose patients' conditions. Continuous monitoring of patients' conditions and progress is crucial, and the APRN will need to re-evaluate treatments as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Additionally, the APRN will collect, record, and maintain comprehensive patient information, including medical histories, reports, and examination results. Effective communication is key, as the APRN will explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients, ensuring they understand their health conditions and care plans. The role also involves advising patients and community members on various health-related topics, including diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention. Collaboration is a significant aspect of this position, as the APRN will refer patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary and will direct and coordinate the activities of nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff. The APRN will also coordinate work with a diverse team of healthcare providers, including nurses, social workers, rehabilitation therapists, pharmacists, and psychologists, to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
