Application Support Engineer - Executive Operations

About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Engineer with a strong background in AWS cloud infrastructure, application architecture, and cross-platform troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, performance, and integrity of mission-critical applications across our global technology stack. This is a hands-on technical role suited for those with a proactive, problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across DevOps, infrastructure, and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support across development, staging, and production.
• Troubleshoot complex app issues using logs and performance analysis.
• Manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Support CI/CD pipelines (especially Jenkins).
• Write scripts in Python or GoLang for automation.
• Troubleshoot networking (DNS) and database issues (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Support both Linux and Windows environments.
• Maintain documentation of systems and best practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Strong application architecture and distributed systems knowledge.
• Proficiency in log analysis and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins.
• Database skills: SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Basic scripting in Python or GoLang.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
• Comfortable in Agile/Scrum setups.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
