About the position

The Application Programmer/Imaging Tool III position at KaiHonua, LLC involves designing and building applications to support government customers. The role requires collaboration with the System Analysis and Development team, focusing on user interface design, application administration, and development of various software solutions. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining documentation and providing technical support.

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications using various programming languages and tools.
• Develop user interface features and enhance the organization's offerings.
• Administer existing Asset and Service Management applications.
• Develop and administer Microsoft Reporting Services and Crystal Reports.
• Administer and develop a custom Ruby on Rails based asset management website.
• Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents.
• Develop applications to support the enterprise, including data models and interfaces.
• Plan tests, prepare test data, and execute testing to identify and repair errors.
• Prepare and distribute end-user manuals and technical documentation.
• Provide advice on automating functions and integrating requirements.

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain an IT I level certification IAW AR 25-2 and an IAT-II certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M.
• Five to seven years of experience in application programming.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in coding, debugging, testing, and configuration of application programs.
• Strong background in writing and decoding C# and JavaScript.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Ruby and Ruby on Rails framework.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
• Knowledge of Asset and Service Management software like Remedy ITSM.
• Experience using Visual Basic.
