About the position

Genesis10 is seeking an Application Architect to provide leadership and technical direction for a team delivering technology solutions in the financial industry. This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex software applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with development standards. The architect will also mentor team members and guide them in best practices while managing product backlogs and execution.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, technical direction, and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs.
• Align technical solutions to business objectives and ensure compliance with software development standards.
• Conduct multiple software implementations and apply knowledge in various technical competencies.
• Develop new applications using .NET Core and Angular framework for containerization and cloud deployment.
• Design, develop, and be accountable for feature delivery, ensuring solutions meet product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt.
• Responsible for compliance and security items and audit support at the team level.
• Act as a liaison for production activities/issues.
• Work with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria.
• Guide the team on work breakdown and execution.
• Play a team lead role and mentor the team, identifying skill and role gaps.

Requirements

• 8+ years' experience as a full stack .NET developer.
• Significant experience through multiple software implementations with depth and breadth in several technical competencies.
• 3 years of .NET Core containerization and cloud-based software development.
