About the position

The Appliance Sales Consultant at AllSouth Appliance Group is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while driving sales in a showroom environment. This role involves consulting with customers to assess their needs, recommending suitable appliance solutions, processing orders, and scheduling deliveries. The position emphasizes building long-term relationships with customers and requires knowledge of current design trends and product offerings. Training is provided to ensure consultants are well-versed in the latest products and technologies in the appliance industry.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with consumers to assess their needs and recommend the best appliance solutions.
  • Process appliance orders and schedule deliveries using modern software.
  • Provide excellent customer service to showroom guests and callers.
  • Build relationships with new and existing customers to drive business and increase revenue.
  • Stay updated on current design trends and new product offerings.
  • Engage in follow-up communication with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of commission sales, customer service, or retail experience.
  • Prior experience in appliance and/or decorative plumbing sales is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain attentive to customer needs.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including Saturdays.

  • Experience selling home goods or luxury products such as appliances, jewelry, high-end fashion, or automotive products.
