About the position
The Apartment Maintenance Technician at Redwood Living, Inc. is responsible for performing routine and general maintenance on facilities, buildings, and equipment. This role emphasizes customer service and communication, ensuring a positive experience for residents and fellow employees. Technicians will handle various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs, while also participating in groundskeeping activities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair facilities, buildings, and grounds as assigned through work orders.
- Prepare vacated apartment homes for release quickly and professionally.
- Complete minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall tasks.
- Perform minor plumbing system repairs, including clearing drains and toilet issues.
- Service kitchen appliances, washers, dryers, and garage issues when necessary.
- Respond to emergency maintenance as part of an on-call emergency schedule.
- Follow safety standards at all times.
- Conduct snow removal tasks.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1 year of general maintenance experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
