About the position

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be a key player in a dynamic property management company, responsible for managing financial operations with precision and efficiency. This role involves processing vendor invoices and payments accurately and timely, utilizing Timberline/Yardi software, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile and verify transactions, resolving any discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Manage and execute payment runs, including checks and electronic transfers.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to address and resolve billing issues.
• Prepare and review reports related to accounts payable and vendor management.
• Ensure timely processing of payments and adherence to payment terms.
• Perform some administrative duties, including front office reception and vendor-related duties.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Timberline (Sage 300), Yardi or Appfolio software is required.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
