About the position

Anthropologie is seeking a Vendor Relations Associate to support the day-to-day operations of the Brand Marketing Team. This role is pivotal in working closely with the Associate Manager, Vendor Relations to provide external vendors and collaboration partners with effective marketing strategies aimed at achieving their business goals and enhancing their presence at Anthropologie. The Vendor Relations Associate will engage across multiple consumer touchpoints, including in-store promotions, social media outreach, and digital marketing campaigns. This position requires a blend of traditional, digital, and social marketing knowledge, coupled with strong communication and analytical skills to identify new vendor opportunities and improve existing partnerships. In this role, the Vendor Relations Associate will be responsible for driving the vendor program by maintaining communication with vendors and cross-functional partners, addressing potential challenges with creative solutions, and analyzing marketing performance. The associate will facilitate meetings and manage logistical needs to ensure smooth operations. Key responsibilities include assisting in co-op client services, campaign execution, reporting, invoicing, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as overseeing collaborations with artists in the home and apparel sectors. Responsibilities

  • Assist Associate Manager, Vendor Relations in co-op client services by attending pitch presentations and supporting the program.
  • Request and organize vendor brand guidelines and product priorities to inform messaging and creative direction for campaigns.
  • Share influencer options for respective campaigns and relay vendor feedback to the corresponding team.
  • Brief in and track co-op marketing needs from concept to completion, maintaining the co-op marketing tracker and ensuring timely execution of deliverables.
  • Gather and share SKU lists, product priorities, and brand messaging for upcoming deliverables with internal partners.
  • Communicate with the Influencer Team for all requests related to co-op gifting and content generation.
  • Develop pitch and recap decks, partnering with Analytics and Digital Marketing Team leads to gather necessary data and creative assets.
  • Execute product ordering and shipping for campaigns.
  • Partner with Associate Manager, Vendor Relations to create, disseminate, and track incoming co-op funds, invoices, and budgeting updates.
  • Ensure adherence to budget guidelines for each campaign to maximize incoming funds.
  • Assist with tracking progress for yearly sales goals.
  • Template artist marketing overview documents, creative briefs, and recaps for home/apparel collaborations.
  • Oversee marketing strategy for Tier 3 collaborations, partnering with cross-functional teams for input and communicating changes to launch dates and timelines.
  • Gather and track coverage for exclusive launches.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of marketing experience desired.
  • Charismatic and proactive communication style for external communication.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to build timelines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and work with various cross-functional partners across multiple teams.
  • General awareness of/experience with digital media campaigns (paid social, email, affiliate, etc.) is a plus.
  • Motivated by curiosity, whether solving problems, pursuing new experiences, or seeking creative inspiration.
  • Proven ability to interact with individuals at all levels of an organization, fostering strong cross-functional teamwork and results.
