Requirements

• Two (4) years’ experience as a Scheduler or other related experience.
• One (2) year of supervisory experience in healthcare or related environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Demonstrated experience in the use of a computerized scheduling system and related trouble-shooting, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Skilled in word processing, spreadsheets, and organizing material for presentations.

Nice To Haves

• Prvious experience in provider scheduling
• Two (2) years computer-related college coursework.
• Two (2) years of business administration/secretarial science
• BA/BS in business or related field

Responsibilities

• Coordinates Schedulers and/or Secretarial staff, education instructors in the scheduling of anesthesia services.
• Acts as a liaison between Staff, Physicians and other hospital personnel, as well as physician offices.
• Provides service to neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and to adult NSH employees as it relates to Anesthesia scheduling and coordination needs.
