About The Position

The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Anatomic Pathology Department. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI at our Froedtert main campus location. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care. The position is a full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Primary practice location at Froedtert Hospital with a high-volume, busy cancer center. Subspecialty sign-out model with strong collaboration between pathologists, clinicians, and surgeons. Robust clinical service lines supported by advanced diagnostic infrastructure. Access to Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories (ISO 15189-accredited) with comprehensive histology, IHC, cytogenetics, and molecular capabilities. Immediate access to technical resources supporting clinical, translational, and research initiatives. Active education environment with 16 AP/CP residents and multiple fellowship programs (surgical pathology, women’s health, GI, cytopathology). Opportunities to teach and mentor residents, fellows, medical students, and observers. Strong culture of collegiality and multidisciplinary collaboration. Requirements

  • Board certified / board eligible physician
  • Board Certified in, or eligible for certification in Anatomic Pathology or both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
  • Completed fellowship training in a surgical pathology subspecialty or cytopathology.
  • Qualified for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Strong clinical expertise, interpersonal skills, and commitment to patient care and community engagement.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates should be qualified for an appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor of Pathology or higher.
