About the position

The IT Staff Auditor position at Lilly is responsible for the efficient execution of audit engagements and projects, focusing primarily on IT and Information Security controls. The role involves working with audit teams on both domestic and global audits to ensure compliance with internal control practices and corporate policies. The auditor will identify risks, measure compliance, influence action plans, and collaborate with management to enhance audit processes while sharing best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess risks related to IT and Information Security controls.
  • Measure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
  • Influence action plans based on audit findings.
  • Partner with affiliate management and process owners to improve audit processes.
  • Share best practices and key learnings across the organization.
  • Assist legal in conducting investigations and assessments when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 or more years of work or educational experience in IT and/or IS.
  • Knowledge of software engineering and cybersecurity concepts.
  • Understanding of IT General Controls and their implications.
  • Understanding of Privacy regulations.
  • Experience with automation and data validation.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Knowledge of NIST and COBIT Framework.
  • Willingness to work towards and obtain professional certification in IT/IS or audit area (CISA, CIA, CISSP, etc.).
  • Strong learning agility.
  • Strong time management and project management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
  • Superb communication (oral and written), interpersonal and influencing skills.
