About The Position

This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and automating reporting dashboards and data models. The Analyst, Insights will generate regular reports and insights to support business performance tracking, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness. They will also build and enhance reporting pipelines and workflows to improve efficiency. The position involves analyzing large datasets using tools like SQL, Power BI, or Excel to identify trends and insights, performing exploratory analysis to uncover patterns, and translating analytical findings into clear business recommendations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to understanding requirements and acting as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions. The role also includes identifying and resolving data discrepancies, streamlining reporting processes, and supporting ongoing improvements in reporting frameworks and data governance. Designing dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate insights, and developing KPIs and performance frameworks are also core responsibilities.

Requirements

  • B.A. in Marketing, Business or computer Science preferred
  • 3+ years of experience (preferably retail experience) in an analytical role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and marketing data to develop into a media plan
  • Technical and business acumen
  • Quick learner, multi-tasker that can learn our proprietary systems
  • Excellent communicator
  • Strong foundation in SQL for complex data analysis
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access

  • Experience with Knime is an asset
  • Process improvement and automation experience is an asset
  • Experience managing end-to-end flyer & loyalty programs is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and automate reporting dashboards and data models
