About the position

The Analyst of Content Strategy at Victoria's Secret is responsible for developing and executing pre-season content strategies for product launches and promotional events. This role combines digital merchandising, content strategy, analytics, and creative problem-solving to ensure effective brand initiatives across digital platforms, including the website and app. The position aims to drive profitable business growth while enhancing brand equity through strategic content planning and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing digital content strategies for key product launches and promotional events.
  • Lead content planning and execution across Victoria's Secret's website and app, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Develop and manage strategies for global events and site initiatives, including seasonal newness and major promotional events.
  • Build and manage full-funnel seasonal content strategies for key areas such as the homepage and sitewide banners.
  • Own merchandising strategy for cross-category collections, including New Arrivals and Seasonal Gift Guides.
  • Execute seasonal briefings for global initiatives, ensuring cohesive content execution.
  • Oversee the content calendar to ensure strategic alignment across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with the digital merchandising team to prioritize product categories for site placement.
  • Partner with marketing, creative, and copy teams to craft compelling storytelling.
  • Work with testing and Site Elevation teams to implement innovative ideas that enhance customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to optimize site content for maximum search visibility.
  • Manage project plans and deadlines to achieve content objectives on time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Digital Merchandising.
  • 3-5 years in progressive consumer marketing or Digital Merchandising positions.
  • Deep understanding of the digital landscape and customer journey.
  • Ability to integrate information across various sources into effective strategies.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and welcome change.
  • Extensive experience working in teams and managing internal cross-functional deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Retail/Fashion digital merchandising/marketing experience is a plus.
