About the position
The AMNO - Motor Winder position at Komatsu involves the repair and winding of AC stator cores and DC armatures, ensuring compliance with Komatsu standards. The role requires technical expertise in mechanical and electrical concepts, along with the ability to perform various assembly and testing tasks related to motor components.
Responsibilities
- Install windings in core iron to meet the Komatsu Standards.
- Test winding to meet the Komatsu standards.
- Press together core iron and commutator on shaft.
- Pre balance all armature core and shaft.
- Check motors for permissibility to meet the Komatsu Standards.
- Perform Motor Associate and Motor Assembly duties.
- Perform other assignments at the direction of departmental supervision.
- Obey all safety rules and perform housekeeping functions.
Requirements
- Two-year experience in large motor repair and motor winding.
- Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts.
- Successful testing will be required.
- Able to work any shift.
- Able to work overtime.
- Able to work weekends.
