Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED plus nine (9) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two.
  • OR Associate degree in a Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field plus seven (7) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two.
  • OR Bachelor’s degree in a Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field plus five (5) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two.
  • OR Postgraduate degree in a Clinical, Healthcare, Business, IT, or related field, plus three (3) years of IT experience or clinical/operational experience, or any combination of the two.
  • Epic Ambulatory certification required.
  • Proficiency in Epic Care Ambulatory and related applications.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to document and implement system changes while providing guidance to operational users.
  • Experience in project management and cross-team collaboration.
  • Must have an aptitude for technical tasks and project management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • System Build and Configuration: Interpret, analyze, and design system data to maintain and enhance application functionality while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively resolve system issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions within IT Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Professional Performance: Mentor junior analysts, maintain certifications, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Integrated Application Management: Monitor system integration, participate in cross-functional testing, and ensure application security aligns with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Project Management: Lead or support IT projects, including system upgrades, testing, and implementation, while adhering to project management methodologies.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support departmental goals.
