About the position

As an Amazon Fresh Grocery Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering an extraordinary grocery shopping experience for customers. This position involves engaging with customers, providing product knowledge, and assisting with various store operations in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for tasks such as checkout operations, fresh food preparation, inventory management, and maintaining store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and engage in friendly conversations to understand their shopping needs.
• Offer product recommendations and provide information to assist customers in making product-related decisions.
• Use cash register to ring up customer transactions and assist customers in self-service checkout lanes.
• Receive and process in-store and Amazon.com returns.
• Prepare fresh food items such as cold salads, pizzas, rotisserie chickens, and sandwiches.
• Stock shelves and produce, set up merchandise displays, and maintain a clean sales floor.
• Unload product deliveries and organize stockroom.
• Pick items to fulfill customer grocery orders for pickup and delivery.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to understand and perform duties safely in English.
• Must have a high school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ year of customer service experience.
