The Alarm Dispatcher at Central Station Alarm Corp is a critical role responsible for managing incoming calls and alarm signals related to emergency and non-emergency services. The dispatcher will monitor various types of alarm signals, including video surveillance, ensuring that all alerts are addressed promptly and accurately. The role demands a high level of reliability and dependability, as the dispatcher will often be the first point of contact during emergencies. The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations is essential for success in this position. Additionally, the dispatcher will be expected to perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the alarm monitoring operations.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and alarm system signals regarding emergency and non-emergency services.
- Relay information and messages to and from emergency sites to law enforcement agencies and other relevant parties.
- Monitor all types of alarm signals, including video surveillance.
- Maintain clear communication with emergency services and provide necessary information during incidents.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the alarm monitoring operations.
Requirements
- 1 year of customer service experience (preferred).
- 1 year of computer skills (required).
- Ability to read, write, and speak clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to remain calm during highly stressful situations.
- Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player.

- Experience in cash handling (preferred).
