About the position
The Airframe Interior Specialist at Duncan Aviation is responsible for the removal, repair, modification, and reinstallation of aircraft interiors with minimal supervision. This role requires adherence to customer expectations and company-approved procedures while ensuring a safe and clean work environment. The specialist will also assist in training less experienced team members and may perform as a Qualified Inspector (QI).
Responsibilities
- Remove, repair, modify, and reinstall aircraft interiors using appropriate tooling and procedures.
- Perform minor repairs and modifications to interior components, including wiring terminations.
- Prepare documentation for record-keeping as required by company policy and FAA regulations.
- Assist in training team members to enhance their job knowledge and performance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum four years of aviation interiors experience preferred for Airframe Interior Specialist III.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
- QI designation and Man Lift qualified required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in aviation interior work.
- Familiarity with FAA 8110-3 and FAA 337 documentation.
