About the position

The Aircraft Interior Technician position involves maintaining and cleaning the interiors of aircraft, ensuring they meet safety and aesthetic standards. The role requires flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as it operates 24/7. Technicians will receive initial paid training and are expected to work in various conditions, including exposure to noise and chemicals, while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean aircraft interiors to meet safety and aesthetic standards.
• Perform inspections and repairs as needed on aircraft interiors.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during maintenance activities.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks efficiently.
• Participate in initial paid training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a 10-Year Background investigation.
• Ability to obtain Airport Badges with US Customs Seal.
• Ability to pass pre-employment/random drug screening.
• Ability to pass criminal background check.
• Possess a clean driving record.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Able to lift fifty (50) pounds without mechanical assistance.
• Able to bend, twist, squat, and lift.
• Able to access and work in all areas of the aircraft, including confined areas.

Nice-to-haves

• FAA A&P certificate (not required).
• Previous experience as a handyman, carpenter, or tile installer.
• Previous experience working around aircraft.
• Previous experience in aircraft cleaning.
• Previous experience working in aircraft interiors.
