Requirements

• High school Diploma is required, post-secondary education preferred.
• Minimum 3-4 years’ releasing goods in a customs brokerage environment - Air/Ocean.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products.
• An eye for detail is critical for success in the role.
• A proactive problem solving mindset.
• Air/Ocean experience as an Import Analyst/Rater.

Nice To Haves

• CCS designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with multiple third parties (including Canada Customs, our clients, and shipping companies) to ensure international Air/Ocean imports are cleared for entry into Canada.
• Use multiple computer programs, to input required information into our database.
• Communicate with clients, and transportation carriers via email and phone.
• Partner with internal departments, such as Logistics and Finance, plus varying government agencies to resolve discrepancies.
