About the position
The Dietary Aide at Methodist Hospital plays a crucial role in providing patient food service, cafeteria service, and dish room duties. The Dietary Aide is expected to work collaboratively with the team to enhance the overall patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of patient food service duties.
- Assist in cafeteria food service operations.
- Manage dish room tasks and responsibilities.
- Support catered events and related tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- Food service experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken forms.
- Capability to perform simple cash transactions.
- Knowledge of age-related growth and development principles to ensure patient safety.
