About the position
Outlier is seeking experienced English writers to assist in training generative artificial intelligence models. This remote and flexible freelance role involves reading, writing, and assessing AI-generated text to improve the quality of AI responses. Writers will rank AI outputs, rewrite prompts, and evaluate the factuality and relevance of the content produced by AI models.
Responsibilities
- Read English text to rank responses generated by AI models.
- Write and rewrite prompts and responses, including research and fact-checking.
- Assess the factuality and relevance of AI-generated text.
Requirements
- Experience as a professional writer or editor.
- Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in a writing-related discipline at a selective institution.
- Strong writing style with exceptional English-language spelling and grammar skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to clearly explain strengths and weaknesses of text.
