About the position
The Mammography Imaging Specialist is responsible for performing diagnostic and screening mammography procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging, and assisting radiologists in identifying breast abnormalities. This role requires a commitment to patient care and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms.
- Assist with interventional procedures like needle localization and biopsies.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety procedures.
- Work closely with patients to ensure comfort and answer questions.
Requirements
- ARRT (R) and (M) certification required.
- At least 2 years of mammography experience.
- Strong knowledge of breast imaging systems and protocols.
