About the position
The Interventional Radiology Procedure Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting with high-level diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in interventional radiology. This position involves operating imaging systems, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining sterile environments during complex interventions.
Responsibilities
- Assist proceduralists in complex interventional procedures.
- Operate fluoroscopic equipment and manage contrast media injections.
- Ensure patient monitoring and safety throughout procedures.
- Maintain sterile fields and infection control measures.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation for all procedures.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in interventional radiology.
- Proficient with fluoroscopic equipment and radiological procedures.
- NJ radiographic licensure and ARRT certification.
- BLS certification required.
