About the position
The Cardiovascular Interventional Imaging Technician plays a crucial role in supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. This position involves operating fluoroscopic imaging systems to ensure patient safety and the smooth execution of procedures, while adhering to sterile techniques and infection control measures.
Responsibilities
- Assist during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
- Operate fluoroscopic imaging systems to assist proceduralists.
- Administer contrast media during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control measures.
- Document cases accurately in EMR and PACS.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in cardiovascular interventional radiology.
- Expertise in operating fluoroscopic imaging equipment.
- NJ radiographic licensure and ARRT certification.
- BLS certification required.
