About The Position

Cogeco Media Inc. is looking for promotional agents for its field team (occasional part-time). We are currently seeking 2 people to join our team starting in early August. This job is perfect for those who want to add extra income during the late summer, fall, and winter. Do you enjoy interacting with the public, staying active, and participating in field promotional activities? Come act as a representative and ambassador for the station at various events to ensure the station's visibility with the public.

Requirements

1 to 2 years of experience as a promotions agent or equivalent experience with the general public (an asset).
Good interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, enjoy customer service, and comfortable in public.
Excellent interaction skills with an audience of all ages.
Positive and dynamic approach.
Flexibility in work schedules.
Excellent spoken French.
Hold a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of the radio station's audience (an asset).

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist listeners, clients, and employees at events.
Act as a representative and ambassador for the station at any event where the agent is assigned.
Maximize the visibility and quality of the station's presence by setting up banners and the event kiosk.
Distribute prizes and promotional items.
Work closely with hosts and employees from various departments.
Note and forward listener comments to their immediate supervisor.
