Responsibilities

• Operate, repair, and maintain heavy and light farm equipment for cultivating, tilling, planting, harvesting, and storing crops.
• Grade and sort potatoes as part of the harvesting process.
• Perform daily prep maintenance and operation of irrigation pivots for watering crops.
• Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools, while maintaining inventory.
• Mix specified materials or chemicals and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery.
• Attach farm implements using bolts, pins, and hand tools.
• Weigh crop-filled containers and record weights and other identifying information.

Requirements

• Three months of recent and verifiable experience in agricultural equipment operation.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Willingness to undergo a drug screening and comply with drug-free workplace policies.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and perform extensive physical activities such as pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, and bending.
