About the position

The Ag. Equipment Operator position involves driving and operating agricultural machinery, specifically self-propelled combines, to assist in the planting, cultivating, and harvesting of various crops. This is a temporary, seasonal role based in Willmar, MN, requiring full-time commitment during the agricultural season from February 1, 2025, to November 30, 2025. Operators will be responsible for maintaining equipment, ensuring proper operation, and reporting any malfunctions to supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate self-propelled combine.
• Attach farm implements and till soil, plant, and cultivate grain.
• Tow harvesting equipment and spray crops with fertilizer.
• Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery.
• Notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.
• Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products.
• Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 months of experience in agricultural equipment operation.
• Must be able to obtain a Class D driver's license within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs.
