About the position
The Part-Time Afternoon Teacher Assistant at Montessori Children's House of Blue Bell is responsible for supporting the educational environment by assisting in end-of-day activities and ensuring a positive experience for children as they conclude their school day. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about working with young children and are eager to learn about the Montessori educational principles.
Responsibilities
- Assist in end-of-day activities for children
- Ensure a positive and organized closing to each child's school day
- Support the lead teacher in maintaining a nurturing environment
- Engage with children in a caring and supportive manner
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 2 years of experience in early childhood education or childcare
- Ability to work Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Nice-to-haves
- Experience or knowledge of Montessori educational principles
- Motivated and enthusiastic attitude towards learning and working with children
