About the position

The After School / Preschool Support Teacher at The Children's Center of Austin is responsible for managing and assisting with the daily operations of the classroom, fostering a love of learning in children through creative and developmentally appropriate activities. Responsibilities

• Transporting students from elementary schools to the center
• Plan and implement engaging, creative daily activities for students
• Serve as a positive role model for the children
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure child safety and developmental progress
• Organize and supervise daily schedules and curriculum activities

Requirements

• Experience working with children in childcare or classroom settings
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Ability to provide quality care and education to infants and toddlers
• First Aid certification and familiarity with child development
• Strong classroom and behavior management skills
