About The Position

The After Hours and Weekends Specialist at TransLoop plays a vital role in effective communication, constant updates, and keeping a close eye on the details. This role is strategic, operationally diligent, and relationship based. The Specialist is responsible for ensuring the overall after-hours and weekends process runs just as smoothly as on the weekdays. The ideal candidate will be motivated and supported in their role, working with modern tech offerings.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of logistics experience
• Identify a proven track record of high performance
• Carrier/customer brokerage model experience
• Experience with high volume and multi-faceted accounts
• Strong writing, speaking, and overall communication skills
• Detail-oriented

Nice To Haves

• Experience in 3PL, Transportation, or Tech

Responsibilities

• Track and trace all shipments picking, in-transit, and delivering on evenings and weekends.
• Communicate effectively with team members and employees in other departments.
• Provide customers updates on their shipments by utilizing proper protocol, including but not limited to established systems and customer portals.
• Recover shipments that are at risk of service failures, by effectively utilizing existing company resources.
• Work with Carrier Sales Reps and Management to make sure all shipments are pre-planned by EOD Friday for the following weekend and Monday Morning.
• Lead by example by providing best-in-class adherence to established protocols and by establishing new carrier operations that strengthen the after-hours/weekends team, as well as TransLoop overall.
