About the position

The Advocacy and Housing Program Manager will play a pivotal role in advancing the Native American Community Clinic's (NACC) mission by leading the development and integration of key support services into NACC's clinical offerings. This position will oversee NACC's housing program, patient advocacy, parental advocacy, and transportation services, ensuring they are effectively managed and accessible to the community. The Manager will focus on optimizing these programs to address the holistic needs of patients, fostering seamless coordination between clinical and support services, and enhancing NACC's overall impact in the community. By driving program development and integration, this role will contribute to a more comprehensive and supportive care experience for NACC's patients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and growth of NACC's housing program to support community needs.
  • Oversee program design, implementation, and ongoing assessment to ensure alignment with best practices and community priorities.
  • Manage and provide guidance to NACC's patient advocates, parental advocates, and transportation teams.
  • Conduct regular supervision, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities for staff.
  • Coordinate advocacy and housing program offerings within NACC, ensuring a seamless integration with clinical programs.
  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration between housing, advocacy and clinical teams to support holistic, patient-centered care.
  • Develop clear and accessible communications for housing and advocacy programs for the community and NACC staff, ensuring awareness and understanding of available resources.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries about NACC's housing and advocacy programs.
  • Lead the ongoing development of NACC's advocacy and housing programs, identifying areas for expansion and improvement based on community feedback and organizational goals.
  • Implement data-driven evaluation methods to assess program impact and inform future initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social services management, with a background in housing required.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership, program development, and community engagement.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
