Responsibilities

  • Assign and coordinate patient care during shifts.
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the cardiology specialty.
  • Consult with staff, physicians, and management on nursing issues.
  • Interpret facility policies to ensure patient needs are met.
  • Collaborate with the inpatient manager on performance improvement activities.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.

Requirements

  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in Nebraska.
  • Experience in cardiology or related specialty preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of nursing policies and procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
