About the position
The Adult Psychologist position at Park Nicollet Clinic in Maple Grove involves joining a multidisciplinary Behavioral Health team to provide comprehensive mental health services to adult patients. The role focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of mental health concerns, utilizing evidence-based care. The position offers a hybrid work environment, combining clinic-based and remote work, and emphasizes collaboration with primary care colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat adults with various mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma.
- Provide evidence-based care to adult patients in an outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with behavioral health and primary care colleagues to enhance patient care.
- Maintain professional relationships and ethical practices in all interactions.
- Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to document and communicate patient progress.
Requirements
- Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating adults (18 years and older).
- Training in evidence-based care for adults.
- Independently licensed or license eligible in MN as a Doctoral Level Psychologist (LP) PhD or Psy D.
- Strong commitment to ethical practices and professional relationship building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with a broad range of mental health concerns including ADHD and chemical use/misuse.
