About the position
The Adult Psychologist position at Park Nicollet Clinic in Maple Grove involves joining a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health services to adult patients. The role focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and trauma, while ensuring high-quality patient care through evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat adults (18 years and older) with various mental health concerns.
- Provide evidence-based care to patients.
- Build professional relationships with behavioral health and primary care colleagues.
- Facilitate partnerships to enhance patient care.
- Maintain ethical practices in all interactions.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD).
- Independently licensed or license eligible in Minnesota as a Doctoral Level Psychologist (LP).
- Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating adults.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong commitment to ethical practices.
- Professional relationship building skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with a broad range of mental health issues including ADHD and chemical use/misuse.
- Training in evidence-based care.
