About The Position
The Admissions Representative is responsible for managing the pre-admission and admission process for patients at Batram Inpatient Hospital. This role involves interacting with patients, verifying information, coordinating with insurance companies, and maintaining accurate records. The position is full-time, working 12 PM - 8 PM, 40 hours per week.
Requirements
- High school graduate with Business curriculum.
- Two to three years secretarial/office experience.
- Must be a team player and have personality skills.
Responsibilities
- Distributes pre-admission forms to each department.
- Signs in patient upon arrival.
- Obtains copies of patient’s insurance information.
- Verifies all patient data and corrects as needed.
- Calls secondary insurance companies for pre-certifications.
- Creates and files business office/admission charts.
- Responsible for the production and distribution of patient education manuals.
- Verifies compliance with regulatory standards.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
