About The Position

This is a full-time position for an Admissions Representative at Batram Inpatient Hospital. The role involves managing patient admissions, ensuring accurate data collection, and coordinating with insurance companies. The position is located at Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital in Jacksonville, FL, with working hours from 12 PM to 8 PM, 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• High school graduate with Business curriculum.
• Two to three years secretarial/office experience.
• Must be a team player and have personality skills.

Responsibilities

• Distributes pre-admission forms to each department.
• Signs in patient upon arrival.
• Obtains copies of patient’s insurance information.
• Verifies all patient data and corrects as needed.
• Calls secondary insurance companies for pre-certifications.
• Creates and files business office/admission charts.
• Responsible for the production and distribution of patient education manuals.
• Verifies compliance with regulatory standards.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
