About The Position

Our Admissions Coordinator plays a crucial role by facilitating the admission process for patients in a behavioral health setting. Requirements

  • LMSW, LCSW, LPC
  • Experience in a healthcare admissions role, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
  • Experience working with adult and adolescent populations and understanding their unique needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the admissions process for patients in a residential behavioral health setting and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to assess patient needs and coordinate appropriate services, including educational programs and long-term care options.
  • Maintain a cheerful disposition while interacting with patients and their families, providing support and guidance throughout the admission process.
  • Stay informed about managed care policies and company procedures to ensure compliance and effective service delivery.
  • Continuously seek out new methods and principles to improve the admissions process and enhance patient satisfaction.
  • Obtain, summarize, and analyze trends in order to create admissions reports.
  • Cross train with other roles within the Admissions department.
  • Maintain patient and client confidentiality according to company policies and HIPAA requirements.
