About The Position

This position is responsible for crisis evaluations, preauthorization requests, and coordination of admissions to Cedar Springs. The position consists of answering phone calls, conducting mental health evaluations, evaluating for involuntary commitments, making clinical recommendations for optimal level of care referrals and community adjustment, coordinating with community providers and referral sources, and facilitating internal admissions to Cedar Springs programs. Needs to perform vitals, breathalyzer tests as well as temperature on each potential patient at time of evaluation. Immediate consideration for overnight schedules. Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of experience with crisis work
  • At least one year of experience with mental health evaluations
  • Licensed individuals preferred
  • Colorado licensure must be in good standing meeting state requirements for enacting involuntary holds (e.g.: CSW, LPC, MFT) with two years of mental health experience
