About the position

The Administrative Support Supervisor - Registrar's Office is responsible for supervising the activities of support level personnel within an assigned department or program. Assisting with the daily processing of transfer credit. Evaluation of external transfer transcripts that are presented for academic credit to ensure authenticity, accreditation, and course equivalency for individual courses. Work with college representatives to evaluate course descriptions and syllabus, presentation from external institutions. Explain university transfer credit policy and procedures to students, staff, and faculty and maintain accurate documentation to distribute as needed. Other duties as assigned. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise support level personnel within the Registrar's Office.

Requirements

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma.
  • At least one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in administrative support, including one year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of three years related work experience.
