About the position

The Administrative Services Generalist will support the Central Region Loan Origination Department by managing various administrative tasks, including handling phone calls, processing loan applications, and assisting customers. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of operations within the region and requires a strong understanding of administrative functions to ensure success.

Responsibilities

  • Field incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate party.
  • Sign for deliveries and distribute daily reports to relevant personnel.
  • Provide assistance to walk-in customers and handle inquiries professionally.
  • Perform data entry for consumer loan applications and ensure accuracy.
  • Scan loan files and maintain organized records for off-site storage.
  • Distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail for dispatch.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high productivity.

Requirements

  • 1-year administrative experience or customer service experience is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of Access databases is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Good organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail are required.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Ability to follow through with assigned projects independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience within a financial institution is preferred.
  • Previous loan processing experience is preferred.
