About the position

Within a high volume setting, provides support functions to the clinical and administrative staff; ensures attention to detail and aids in the completion of patient charging, abstracting, and insurance referrals.

Requirements

  • One to three years previous experience as a Medical Secretary in a physicians practice or Clinic environment
  • Command of verbal and written English; positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills.
  • Understanding of referral process.
  • Knowledge of physician appointments and schedule management.
