About the position

Responsible for providing administrative support for the diverse functions of the Community Relations department by performing a variety of duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Assistant Vice President and Community Relations department with various administrative functions including coordinating and maintaining schedules, making travel arrangements, processing reports and spreadsheets, monitoring inventory, answering phones, directing incoming calls/email, maintaining key log, and ordering departmental supplies.
  • Coordinates attendance and participation at Redstone Federal Credit Union sponsored events, registering attendees and working with event organization to obtain relevant event details.
  • Backs up Event Coordinator / Specialist, serving as the on-site RFCU staff member working with meeting hosts to facilitate their meeting requirements.
  • Acts as a backup for Community Communications Coordinator, preparing for and conducting Community Involvement Committee meetings as necessary.
  • Assists in functions related to community sponsorship/advertising requests and fulfillment.
  • Communicates details of approved events to be shared internally and externally.
  • Assists with set-up, facilitation, and tear down of internal and external Redstone Federal Credit Union hosted/sponsored events.
  • Interacts with departments and vendors to research and resolve problems and provide requested information.
  • Assists with special projects, performing research and compiling data as necessary.
  • Promotes the Credit Union by participating in community involvement and special events.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED - Required
  • Administrative and Communications Experience - Preferred
