The Administrative Assistant at Triumph Public High School plays a crucial role in supporting the school's administration and operations. The role involves a variety of secretarial and office duties, as well as assisting supervisors in preparing reports and meeting the daily administrative needs of the school. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the provision of supportive services related to the general administration and operations of the school.
  • Perform secretarial and general office duties as required.
  • Assist the supervisor in preparing reports and meeting day-to-day administrative support needs.
  • Maintain office operations and perform other assigned duties.
  • Occasionally work on Saturdays, during the summer, and travel within the state of Texas as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Certificate required.
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate of Arts (AA) Degree, or 48 college credit hours or higher preferred.
  • Courses in business administration practices highly preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft and Google applications required.
  • Knowledge of general office practices and procedures in an education environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience using TxEIS program and PEIMS data strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English required.
  • Pass a pre-employment fingerprinting as part of the background check.
  • Submit original college transcripts, service records, and credentials within the first 30 days of employment.
