Join our dedicated Health & Human Services team as an Administrative Assistant, supporting staff who make a meaningful difference in our community. Under the direction of the Income Support Manager, the HHS Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting agency staff with caseload management by providing data entry and word processing support. This includes the preparation of legal documents, resumes, case dictation, cover letters, court reports, petitions, letters, memorandum, forms, newsletters, reports, charts, policies or other correspondence from rough draft, staff instructions, or transcription. The HHS Administrative Assistant provides other office support services by maintaining department files/records, providing back-up clerical and Resource Specialist support, the ordering of office supplies and the preparation of unit/department claim forms or purchase orders. This position will work at the Chaska Government Center Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
