About The Position

Administratively assist the plant in any and all areas. Perform certain accounting duties to assist Accounting Manager.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages
  • Strong written and oral communication, in English
  • Excellent PC skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • A combination of the listed skills and knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones
  • Entering production batches into LX daily; coordinate with staff accountant to review batch entry and work with production to correct any errors
  • Maintain binder with LX instructions for batch entry and inventory adjustments
  • Enter receiving
  • Perform Inventory adjustments as needed to maintain lot control and tracking.
  • Assist Maintenance with Mainsaver software: parts inventory, preventive maintenance records, receiving purchase orders
  • Administer maintenance program and record keeping for powered air purifying respirators (PAPR). Perform regular maintenance on PAPRs.
  • Assist with the administration of plant safety, health, and environment programs.
  • Perform initial on boarding training for new hires.
  • Create sample order shipment documents
  • Greet and check-in vendors, drivers, and guests
  • Schedule meetings
  • Inventory and reorder office supplies
  • Inventory and reorder cafeteria supplies
  • Support all departments, as needed
  • Broaden skillset in order to be a backup for other positions, as needed
  • Facilitate, track and distribute safety trainings monthly
  • Point of contact for planning and deployment of hardware/software projects, improvements and installations
  • Complete any and all forms, checklists and documentation required by Company policies and procedures
  • Help endorse and maintain a safe culture at all times
  • Ensure administrative work is done correctly and efficiently
  • Comply with HR policies and procedures.
  • Comply with relevant employee laws
  • Other duties as assigned
