About The Position

The Administrative Assistant supports the Executive Director and helps ensure the smooth operation of our senior living community. This role is ideal for an organized and personable professional who enjoys making a difference through administrative support, including scheduling appointments, preparing meeting minutes, and handling a variety of clerical and office tasks.

Requirements

  • One year of administrative support experience.
  • Must possess computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively in person and on the phone with team members, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Excel is preferred.
  • Secretarial skills, preferred.
  • Experience working with older adults, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Take meeting minutes.
  • Assists with scheduling management (schedules meeting, interviews and appointments).
  • Coordinate team appreciation events.
  • Take phone calls and answers emails.
  • Assistant team members, residents, visitors, etc.
  • Informs Executive Director of compliance issues and other concerns with residents and team members.
  • Provides back up coverage for reception desk.
