The Accounting-Tax Assistant supports the Tax and Accounting teams by handling clerical and administrative tasks such as retrieving incoming mail, sorting and delivering as needed, scanning supporting documents, and sending/receiving checks. The position plays a key role in supporting the Tax and Accounting departments of the organization, handling a variety of administrative and support duties. The volume of scanning and printing is high – approximately 6000 business licenses, 6800 property tax items, and 1200 sales tax items annually.
