About The Position

TEHORA is currently looking for a Database Administrator with solid experience in their field of expertise to contribute to structuring technological projects for public and private organizations. The selected candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to database administration, including analyzing business needs, recommending solutions, collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders, producing documentation, and ensuring quality, security, and performance standards are met. The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement of processes and practices, analyzing gaps between current and target environments, defining technological principles and standards, and supporting the preparation of architecture deliverables and technological recommendations. Collaboration with business, IT, and security architects is essential to ensure architectural coherence.

Requirements

  • DEC or Bachelor's degree in computer science, networks, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Autonomous, rigorous, and results-oriented.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent command of French, both oral and written.
  • Good understanding of modern architectures, hybrid environments, and technological integration challenges.
  • Experience in defining target architectures, recommending solutions, and comparative analysis of technological options.
  • Ability to clearly document assumptions, constraints, risks, and architectural decisions.
  • Synthesizing skills, methodological rigor, and client orientation.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in French.
  • Proficiency in SGBD Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL languages.
  • Experience with backup and recovery tools (RMAN, Always On).

  • Oracle Certified Professional certification.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator certification.

Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in database administration mandates.

  • Ensure compliance with quality, security, and performance standards.
  • Produce gap analyses between the current and target environments.
  • Contribute to the definition of technological principles, standards, and directions.
  • Support the preparation of architecture deliverables and technological recommendations.
  • Collaborate with business, IT, and security architects to ensure architectural coherence.
  • Design, implement, and maintain relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Optimize database queries and performance.
  • Ensure data backup, restoration, and recovery.
  • Collaborate with development and security teams to implement best practices.
  • Automate repetitive tasks (SQL, PowerShell scripts).
  • Document schemas, procedures, and data management policies.
  • Participate in cloud migration (Azure SQL, Oracle Cloud).
