About The Position

The Adjunct Professor of Law will teach Water Resources Law. This role requires the ability to translate substantive law and policy content into effective learning outcomes, lectures, and hands-on tasks. The professor will also be responsible for creating assignments and quizzes, and will need to record media such as video and narrated slides. Collaboration with a team and meeting deadlines are essential. Experience with online course development or teaching is preferred.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in law (JD, LLM, MSL, or JSD).
• Relevant experience such as teaching or legal practice in this field.
• Minimal facility with computer navigation.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to coordinate with a team.
• Willingness to record media such as video and narrated slides.
• Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.

• Ability to quickly learn new software, including but not limited to Canvas and Zoom.
